Leveraging the Immune Repertoire for Biomarker Discovery in COVID-19 and Other Inflammatory Diseases
The adaptive immune system employs an immensely diverse repertoire of T-cell receptors (TCR) to recognize and neutralize foreign agents. Analyzing gene expression of the TCR repertoire in vivo has become a well-accepted strategy to discover biomarkers of disease progression, or a response to a vaccine or immunotherapy. Despite the enormous research potential of TCR analysis, big data and computational challenges remain to effectively sequence and analyze T-cells at scale.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently concluded its precisionFDA COVID-19 Precision Immunology App-a-thon, which called upon the scientific community to develop innovative and user-friendly tools to explore the relationship between personalized immune repertoires and COVID-19 disease outcomes. Please join us for a webinar with MIODx, a breakthrough leader in the precisionFDA’s app-a-thon.

This one hour session will highlight the clinical relevance of sequencing the TCR repertoire, current sequencing challenges, and methodologies for analyzing and interpreting TCR data.

Attendees Will Learn:
-How immune sequencing is being used in research and precision medicine
-How to overcome big data and computational challenges associated with T and B cell sequencing
-How ClonoMap™ Immune Profiler, MIODx’ post-sequencing bioinformatics workflow, won pFDA’s app-a-thon in the categories of Impact and Overall Design
-How ClonoMap™ provides an interactive user-friendly interface for TCR repertoire analysis
-How MIODx’ tools generated preliminary evidence of biomarkers in the TCR repertoire that are predictive of COVID-19 disease severity

About MIODx
